Bozeman celebrates the season of festive each December with the annual Christmas Stroll. Every year on the first Saturday in December, residents, and visitors gather together to enjoy the events. From family-friendly activities to local wining and dining, there's a lot to explore as you stroll through downtown Bozeman.

You'll find plenty of activities for all ages at the annual Christmas Stroll. Here are a few of our favorites that the kiddos can get excited about.

Pictures with Santa

It wouldn't be the holidays without that year's photo with Santa. Get the family dressed up and prep them to pose, perfect for the family Christmas card.

Cookie Decorating

Don't deny your sweet tooth this December. Cookie decorating booths put on by event sponsors are geared toward the little ones, and they make a great way to get the whole family involved in the holiday spirit.

DIY Craft Ornaments

Help them treasure the decorating tradition when you pick up a DIY craft ornament kit from booths at the stroll. With a new addition to the tree each year to look forward to, they'll love the Christmas Stroll craft time.

Following the parade, watch the ceremonial lighting of Downtown's Christmas decorations. Twinkling lights really make the magic of the season.

Wagon Rides

Take a horse-drawn wagon from the library to the heart of downtown. It may not be a sleigh ride, but it's about as close as it gets. And it comes with the same fun and festiveness.

Enter in advance to inject the season with a little healthy competition at the gingerbread house contest. Even if you don't sign up to compete, you can still enjoy seeing some of the impressive entries on display.
