Starry Night's Staff

Eric + Veronica Sheckleton

Owners

Starry Night Lodging, formerly Highline Adventures, was created as a way for two outdoor adventure lovers to raise a family in the state they love. Eric met Veronica in 1994 while they were both working at Glacier National Park. Their first hike together was the Highline Trail, following the Continental Divide. After 12 years together and the birth of their two beautiful daughters, they decided to draw on their decades of hospitality experience to open Highline Adventures, LLC in 2006. Their goal was two-fold: support local people with a family-style work environment, and treat guests like family. In 2011 they created the Starry Night Lodging brand. With Starry Night Lodging, Eric and Veronica are always looking for new ways to treat Montana and Kauai’s people, visitors, and lands with respect, care, and friendliness.

Jolyn Music

CFO

Jolyn Music is our Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer based near Bozeman. She began working for Highline Adventures in July of 2008 when the company purchased the hotel she was managing. She has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, which includes time spent in multiple departments of both economy and full-service hotels as well as restaurant management. She is a fourth-generation Montanan with three grown daughters and five grandchildren, all living in the Bozeman area. In her free time, Jolyn loves traveling to new places, reading a good book, or trying to grow new things in her garden. Her two favorite things about being a part of the Highline team are having the privilege of traveling to all of our beautiful locations on a regular basis and leading our exchange program with foreign college students from around the world.

Meghan Larson

CEO

Meghan Larson has been in the hospitality industry for over 15 years. Having lived most of her life on the coasts (both East and West), she became landlocked in 2003 after falling in love with and marrying her snowboard instructor in Big Sky, Montana. Meghan made the third-best decision of her life in 2016 when she joined the Starry Night team, where she gets to visit different properties, nurture a positive and uplifting environment for team members and guests alike, and support the Starry Night management team. When she’s not working, Meghan is out with her two kiddos and snowboarder hubby having adventures galore and enjoying everything Montana offers.
