The entire world is suffering from one of the worst health and financial crisis in a generation. As leaders in the hospitality industry centered around Montana's National Parks, we are feeling it too. Our teams are anxious to get back to work doing what we love, serving guests. However, we do not want to rush the process and risk the health and safety of our staff or guests.
There is good news on the horizon with Phase #1 of Montana Governor Steve Bullock's plan to reopen the state, which began on April 24th. Things are slowly starting to open back up, including State Parks on May 1st, which gives us hope more guests will be visiting soon. We are excited to facilitate new adventures this summer and help people reconnect with Montana!
We Are Ready For You
While we wait for the experts to determine when to open the National Parks, we have been busy upgrading, remodeling, painting, and deep cleaning every property. We want to welcome guests with the best experience possible, and it has kept many of our staff busy during this time. For that reason, our facilities are not the only thing changing — we have changed our guest experience to offer the most protection possible. While visitors may feel comfortable traveling to adventure in Montana, they still want to rest easy in their space, knowing their basecamp for that adventure is clean, sanitized, and as safe as possible. In light of getting ready, we are putting together a Basecamp for Recovery Sale to kickstart your adventure!
Your Safety is our #1 Priority
We have hotels in Gardiner, Bozeman, and Bigfork, as well as a campground in Bozeman. In order to make safety the top priority, we must stay atop the local, statewide, and regional information about health, safety, and pertaining conditions in those areas. We want to provide the most space, adhering to the requirements where we can, making your reconnection with Montana exciting and safe.
One thing that makes us unique is that should a guest feel more comfortable, in each of these cities, we have an option for rooms with separate exterior entrances. This enables our guests to come and go straight to their vehicles without worrying about contact with others. Whenever possible, we have also altered the check-in experience so that guests can register from outside through a protected window to the front desk.
Whenever this is not possible, we have installed a glass barrier between the guest and our service agents. All pens are sanitized after every use, to limit potential exposure for our guests. Care is used in keeping a clean environment, and caution is used in high traffic areas
Due to state and local regulations, we are no longer able to offer continental breakfast, coffee in the lobby, or our pools. We do have marts in most lobbies, so guests can purchase food and beverages without visiting the store. We also serve a Grab&Go breakfast at many of our locations.
Abiding with the CDC's recommendations, we have implemented an hourly sanitization schedule for all public areas and entry doors, and we have installed sanitizer stations at every public entrance for more frequent use. Our staff is encouraged to wear face coverings to protect themselves as well as our guests. Our guest rooms are completely sanitized after every check-out and then cleaned thoroughly.

To protect our staff and guests, we do not clean any stayovers but will provide extra linens, amenities, and service if requested.

A Great Summer to Visit
This is likely to be an amazing summer to visit Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Locals are talking about it being one of the few times they can imagine visiting in the summer months, as the volume of tourism will be lower. With fewer people, the animals are also going to start taking their land back.
It is going to be an adventure for anyone lucky enough to enjoy it. Not everyone will feel comfortable traveling this summer. That is ok; this is a scary and challenging time for all.
