The Farmers Market at Coconut Marketplace is held Tuesday and Thursday. Enjoy Thai food from a pop-up at Coconut Marketplace or dinner and drinks with a view at Lava Lava Beach Club. Vegan options are available at Russell’s across the street, and Napali Brewery, next door, is the island’s best brewery.
The house offers plenty of beach gear. Avocado, mango, and banana trees grow on-site in season. An outdoor shower is located in the banana patch. There is a shared BBQ grill and gazebo for outdoor dining. A gate near the gazebo leads to the beach path—follow it for about 100 yards to reach Keiki Beach, the perfect spot to catch the sunrise and take a refreshing morning swim. Then, relax with your morning coffee in a beach chair on the grassy lawn as you plan out your day.
We recycle plastics (#1 and #2 shaped like bottles), aluminum, tin, glass, paper, and cardboard. A solar hot water heater reduces energy use. Energy-efficient mini-splits provide A/C, but we encourage guests to turn them off when away. LED bulbs are used throughout.
Located in Kapa’a, this cottage is in the center of the island. It’s 40 minutes to 1 hour from both ends of Kauai and just 10 to 15 minutes from Lihue Airport. Every amenity is available in Kapa’a, including a multi-use coastal bike path that runs over 10 miles from Kapa’a to Anahola.
