The Butte KOA is located in Southwest Montana, at the intersection of Interstates 15 and 90, making it a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts. Within 30 minutes of the campground, visitors can access world-class blue-ribbon fishing streams.
The Continental Divide trail runs through Butte, providing plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. The area also offers craft beer brewed from mountain springs, farmer's markets, scenic drives, and wildlife watching opportunities. Guests can hop onto the "Old Number One" trolley car that boards next door at the Visitor's Center, explore the engineering marvel of the Berkeley Pit, and visit the mansions of old-time mining barons in Butte's neighborhoods. Uptown Butte is also a great place for sightseeing. For those who prefer golfing, Anaconda's Old Works Golf Course designed by Jack Nicklaus is a popular option. Visitors can also fish in streams near their campsite or stroll on the walking paths that border the campground.

Pocket park located on the property offers a selection of activities for big kids- GaGa Ball, Cornhole, a community fire pit, Ladder ball, and giant chess/checkers are all available. Grab a cold drink from the store, and enjoy!
Butte has a great system of walking trails, including one that runs along the edge of our campground along the Blacktail Creek.
